Building Communities Along the Carolina Coast

A diversity of home buyers ranging from retirees to first time buyers, of local origin, and flocking in from out of state, view the South Carolina Lowcountry as a place to find a "high quality of life." An often-heard comment is "We came here on vacation and we decided to stay."

The home building industry continues to soar, as more and more people discover the year-round active lifestyles available to them along the Carolina coastal region. The popularity of this area is fueled by the growing numbers of baby boomers reaching retirement age and others seeking out the perfect setting for a second home in resort and coastal communities. The coast’s numerous golf courses, mild climate, reasonably-priced housing and of course, hospitable people have made the Carolina coast one of the most popular destinations along the Southeastern United States.

It is the desire of Carolina Homes & Interiors to assist home buyers in their search for the perfect home, community, price and location. We hope the informative interviews with South Carolina’s top coastal builders (based on building permits and or closings from 2000) will help you in the relocation and purchasing process.
